In Memory of Charlotte L. Boelk

June 6, 1934 - December 4, 2025

Charlotte Lou Boelk (nee Schedler) of Sarona, WI, entered her eternal home on Dec 4, 2025.

She was born in Humphrey, NE to Rev. Edmund G. and Louella Schedler on June 6, 1934. The family moved frequently throughout the Midwest as her father was called to various Lutheran churches, finally settling in Augusta, WI where she graduated high school.

After graduation she moved to Milwaukee, WI where she met and married Ronald J. Boelk. They too moved frequently throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota for his job with 3M as they raised four children. Upon his retirement they settled in the Sarona area; a place they had come to love while vacationing on Long Lake every summer.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, and brother, John Schedler. She is survived by her sisters, Gloria Schultz (Don) and Kathy Palenschat (Art), and by her four children; Debra Boelk, David Boelk (Cilicia), Michele Vanderhyde (Jonathan), Rebecca Dollum (Kent) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Charlotte was a diligent homemaker, and a loving mother and wife. She enthusiastically supported her children in all their endeavors throughout their lives. She was the communication hub of the family; always keeping the various members informed on what the others were doing. She never forgot a birth date or anniversary.

Charlotte’s greatest attribute was her unwavering love for her Savior, Jesus. Through disappointments and the sad events of life she always trusted the Lord’s plan for her life and those she loved. She prayed daily for all those who God placed in her life.

A funeral service will be planned for the spring at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cameron, WI.
