
In Memory of Cheryl L. Hach
Cheryl Lynne Hach, age 65, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 28, 2025 at her home in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
Cheryl was born December 24, 1959 to Edward and Joyce (Burch) Emerson in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. She attended St. Croix Falls High School, graduating in 1978. Cheryl worked at Solum Laundry and Car Wash right after high school up until she was married. She married Richard “Rick” Hach on August 12, 1978, and they soon took over his family farm, where they raised their three children: Andrea, Angela, and Anthony “Tony”. Cheryl had many jobs on the farm including taking care of the kids but she also spent time working at the Cushing Cornerstore, Steve’s Appliances Plus, and Valley View Vision, until her brain aneurysm caused her to retire early.
Cheryl enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, baking – she was always trying new concoctions to see if they turned out. She loved the animals on the farm, and was always making sure the cows were on their best behavior. Back in the day, Cheryl enjoyed trap shooting.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her husband, Rick; grandparents, Joe and Adehl Burch, and Wesley and Doris Emerson; and her parents-in-law, Russell and Marie Hach.
She is survived by her children, Andrea (Ryan) Richardson, Angela (Josh) Spoelstra, and Tony (Teresa) Hach; grandchildren, Katelyn, Breck, Emerson, Devin, and Payson; parents, Ed and Joyce Emerson; brothers, Brad (Karen) Emerson and Todd (Julie) Emerson; sister-in-law, Maxine (Stan) Olson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.
Evening visitation will be held for Cheryl 4:00pm – 7:00pm Friday, June 6, 2025 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, Wisconsin. Celebration of Life will be 12:00pm – 4:00pm Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Cushing Community Center in Cushing, Wisconsin. Private burial to take place at Wolf Creek Cemetery at a later date.
