Clarice June (Johnson) Flach Age 91, was taken by God’s angels to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

She was a resident at Vista Prairie at Brentwood in Rice Lake where she was lovingly cared for by the staff and St. Croix Hospice.

Clarice was born on February 6, 1933 in Rice Lake, WI to Clarence and Alice Johnson. She graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1951. Clarice was married to Lawrence Flach on September 28, 1952 in Yuma, AZ. Clarice was a homemaker who graciously and willingly shared her gifts and talents with her church, her children’s schools, 4-H Club, and with her neighborhood. She was a gifted seamstress who lovingly dressed dolls over the years to be given to less fortunate children. Clarice was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and two sisters.

She is survived by two brothers, Bruce (Rita) Johnson of Rice Lake and Brian (Dawn) Johnson of Chippewa Falls, WI; daughters, Debra (Jerry) Mellem of Robins, Iowa, RoxAnne (Steve) Dohrmann of Minnesota, Renee Flach of Castle Rock, Washington; a son, Randy (Lori) Flach of Cumberland, WI. Clarice was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Monday, June 17, 2024 at Hosanna Free Lutheran Church in Cumberland, WI, Rev. Tom Olson officiating, with interment in Section Ten Cemetery in Cumberland. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church on Monday. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements. The family asks that Clarice be remembered for the joy she brought others and not the sadness of her passing as she has attained her heavenly home.
