Darryl H. Hanson, age 83 of Dresser, Wisconsin, formerly of Scandia, Minnesota and The Woodlands, Texas, passed away on October 16, 2025. He was born in Amery, Wisconsin on September 24, 1942 to parents Howard and Arlene Hanson.

Darryl was a graduate from Unity High School. He spent his career as a sales rep for Thermal Fisher Scientific starting at the age of 18.

He was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting and camping, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, NASCAR, and building birdhouses.

Darryl is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Arlene Hanson, step-father Carl Hansen, and sister Carol Tendrup.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane; children Kelly (Dave) Hopkins, Shawn (Cheryl) Hanson, and Krisi (Mark) Schmidt; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brothers Dana Hansen and Ardell Hansen; sister Janice Elliott, and many other relatives and friends.
