David Alan Marmon, age 45, passed away quietly on Saturday, June 13, 2026, after a very short battle with stage 4 lung and brain cancer.

David was born September 14, 1980 in St. Croix Falls, WI, to parents Alan and Jacqueline Marmon.

David was an avid hunter and outdoorsman; he spent many years hunting with his uncles and his cousins. He enjoyed Boy Scouts – starting as a tiger cub and working his way up to a life scout. He taught a knots class at Weblos Woods for a few years and won many awards. He liked cars and worked on his own as much as he could. His love of music ranged from B.B. King to AC/DC.

David had a strong passion for art, and his true calling was cooking. For the last 20 years, he has cooked at numerous restaurants and bar and grills in the area. He had an incredibly unique sense of humor and loved spending time with his friends and his family.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Marmon. David is survived by his father, Alan Marmon; his three siblings, Melissa Johnson (Shawn Peterson), Brian Marmon, and Theresa (Ryan) Vance; his nephew, Gavin Dahl; niece, Kylie Vance; and many other extended family and friends.

Memorial service for David will take place 2:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI. Visitation two hours prior.
