David J. Odash, age 68, of Barron, passed away at his home on November 20, surrounded by his family after losing his battle with cancer.

He was born on December 23, 1956 to Don and Fern Odash and grew up in Rice Lake. Dave married Lorri Erickson on May 26, 1979, enjoying almost 50 years together. He worked at Midwest Ducts as a sheet metal worker for 30 + years, retiring in 2025.

Dave enjoyed collecting Leinenkugel and Nascar memorabilia. He also enjoyed dirt track racing and taking his grandchildren to big weekend events at Cedar Lake Speedway. In 2003, David and his son attended the Super Bowl in San Diego.

He is survived by his wife, Lorri; son, Jesse (Cristin) Odash; daughter, Jayme Odash, all of Barron; grandchildren, Dominick Townsend, Vanessa Odash, Rayann Tallman, and twins, Brendyne and Bryce Odash; sisters, Mary Swanson and Sue (David) Perry; brother, Daniel (Debbie) Odash; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane; and nephew, Joshua Carr.

A memorial service for Dave will be held on Saturday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Barron. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Lunch to follow at the church.
