Dawn Lynn (Frisk) Hooper, age 64, of Cameron, WI, formerly of Griffith, IN passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025. Dawn is survived by her loving husband Mike, daughters Vanessa (Ed) Herrera of California, and Ashley (Bud) Rosson of Tennessee, brothers Kevin (Laura) Frisk of Indiana and Keith (Renee) Frisk of Kansas. Grandchildren Andrew, Nash, and Jace Herrera.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ronald Frisk and Irene (Derjan) Frisk. Dawn graduated from Griffith High School in 1979 and attended Indiana University. She retired as a horticulturalist in the maintenance department at the Community Hospital in Munster, IN. She loved gardening, plants, shopping, animals, Hallmark, the Green Bay Packers, ACDC, and most of all her family. She made everything in her path beautiful. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, wife, and friend. She will be deeply missed. At her request, please listen to one of her favorite sons, David Bowie’s Golden years. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date.
