Dean Warren Marlowe, age 86, of Almena, WI, passed away on July 25, 2026.

Dean was born on November 30, 1939, in Turtle Lake, WI, to Victor and Louise (Krebs) Marlowe. He grew up and attended school in Clayton. Dean met Janice Holte, and they were married in 1961. Together they raised seven children.

Dean worked at Bell Cheese in Amery and then for many years at F&A Dairy, where he eventually retired. He loved the Green Bay Packers, fishing and ice fishing, and squirrel hunting. If there was anyone who could fix something or put something back together, it was Dean. He especially loved working on cars.

Dean also had a soft spot for his feline companions, and dogs too. His family is at peace knowing he is with his wife, Janice, again.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sandra Marlowe; grandsons, Brandan Marlowe and Jason Swanson; granddaughter, Heather Osborne; and siblings, Robert Marlowe, Elaine Marion Strenke, Shirley Olin, Rodney Marlowe, Betty Juleff, and Joyce Marlowe. He is survived by his children, Cindy (Randy) Slack, Penny (Bill) Hecht, Dean (Lynn), Ron, Michael, and Chris; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Melvin Marlowe, Judy Anderson, Melinda Roth, and Larry Marlowe; and many other loving friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
