In Memory of Debora Lynn Harrold

April 28, 1951 - September 14, 2017

April 28, 1951  -  September 14, 2017

Debora Lynn Harrold passed away at home with her family on September 14th after a long bout with breast cancer.

Debbie was born on April 28, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan to George and Jean Marinkovic. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School near Milwaukee where she was a track star. Several records that she set stand to this day.

She married Jim Harrold and they moved to Madge Township in the mid 1970's and has lived in the area ever since. She was a very hard worker and often held more than one job at a time, including Bobbie Schmidt's Resort, Margie's Liquor Store, the Spooner Advocate and for the last 23 years at Banana Abstract.

Debbie is survived by her husband and long-time special friend, Jim Bethel and her mother Jean. She was preceded in death by her father George, her sister Karen and her first husband Jim.

Debbie enjoyed bowling and golf. She was a league bowler for over 40 years and was a charter member of the Butternut Hills Golf League. Debbie loved people, animals, growing things and the Green Bay Packers. Debbie was usually up for anything and her quick smile and laugh brought joy to her many friends. She was an artist and especially enjoyed making jewelry. She hated disorganization and would step in to help do things her way, which was nearly always the right way. She will be missed by all those whose life she touched.

A visitation and celebration of life will be held on September 19th from 5-7 pm at the Spooner Funeral Home with burial in a private family service at a later date.
