Dennis Gordon Laier passed away on December 13, 2025. He was born April 3, 1947, in northern Wisconsin. Dennis grew up in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later returned to Hayward, Wisconsin, and married his true love, Jean, on July 12, 1969, where he built a life he loved. He was the owner and operator of Laier Construction, working alongside his father for many years.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Jean; his daughter, Colette (Joe) LaBuda; his son, Doug (Kate) Laier; his grandchildren, Katie (Alex), Jace (Paige), Zach, Brooke; his great-grandson, Archie; and his faithful dog, Ridge.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love of family, loyalty, and quiet strength.

A private graveside service with military honors will be held for Dennis at the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward, WI.
