Dixie Lea Jeffery was born to Eddie and Avis Baker on July 28, 1954. She graduated from Siren High School in 1972. Then graduated from LPN training in Superior, WI in 1973. This turned into a lifelong career. The last several years of her career were spent doing home health care for the elderly and special needs children.

Dixie married Allen Wilbur Jeffery on July 6, 1974, which lasted 52 years. To this union, twin boys Jason Allen and Chad Matthew were born. Later, they adopted Grahme Aaron, and twins Amanda Rae and Tory Shannon.

She is preceded in death by parents Eddie and Avis Baker, and many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her husband Allen; sister Donna Tyler; and children Jason (Carrie) Jeffery, Chad (Sue) Jeffery, Grahme Jeffery, Amanda Jeffery (Matthew), and Tory Jeffery.

Dixie passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of June 10, 2026. May she find everlasting peace.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Rowe Funeral Home (206 2nd Ave E., Luck, WI 54853).
