In Memory of Donald Anderson


September 3, 1935 - November 1, 2019

Donald Ernest Anderson, 84, of Luck, WI was born on September 3, 1935 and passed away peacefully in his home on November 1, 2019.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary and his four children, Sheryl (Cris) Boyd, Jeanne (Brian) Hunt, Robert (Sandi) Anderson and Donna Anderson; grandchildren, Brian Jr., Amber, Sarah, Kyle, Andy and Austin; great-grandchildren, Cailynn, Eliza, Reuben and Reid.  Also survived by his brother, Jim (Pat) Anderson and his sister, Marlene (Lewis) Olson.  Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Agnes Anderson and his brother, Art Anderson. 

Don served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and later on the submarine, USS Wahoo.  Following his service, Don became an electrician and worked at the Twin Cities Ford Assembly Plant Hydro-electric facility until he retired after 35 years in 1996.

He loved traveling and was an avid trapper, hunter, and fisherman who loved the outdoors.  He was a life-long Green Bay Packers fan.  Don loved his country and belonged to the American Legion, VFW, and Korean War Veterans.

Funeral services will be held at St. Dominics Catholic Church in Frederic, WI on Thursday, November 7th - visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Father Joseph Raj Alluri will be officiating.  Military Honors will be presented as Donald is laid to rest at St. Dominics Catholic Cemetery following the service.
