Donald L (Shorty) Beaulieu, of Milltown, WI, died November 12, 2025 at the age of 93.

He was born in Hawkins, WI on March 11, 1932, at the family home, to Monroe and Laura Beaulieu. Shorty volunteered to join the United States Army in 1952, he was assigned to the 8th Army. He spent one year in Korea with the Commonwealth Division, transferred to Japan, then honorably discharged in 1954.

Shorty married Phyllis L Larsen on July 21, 1957. Shorty and Phyillis raised 2 children, David and Susan in Milltown, WI. He was a member of the Milltown VFW and American Legion. Shorty was a member of Milltown Lutheran Church/Joy Lutheran Church. He was a devoted board member for 30 years of the Milltown Cemetery. Shorty retired from the Polk County Highway Department.

Shorty was proceeded in death by his parents and loving wife. He is survived by David Beaulieu, Susan (Jerome) Katelhut. Grandchildren, Crystal, John (Ashley), Matthew (Nicole), and Cathryn (Logan). Great Grandchildren, Tucker, Connor, Raelynn, Riley, Jordan, Paislee, Gracelyn, Aurora, and Ivy.

A celebration of Shorty’s Life will be on November 20, 2025 at Joy Lutheran Church in Centuria WI at 11am, visitation beginning at 10am.
