Doris Helen Gouker, age 95, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Chetek, Wisconsin.

Doris was born to Wendell and Flossie Gillett on October 30, 1928, in Bear Lake, Wisconsin.

She liked to travel and see new places and had a love for beautiful flowers. Doris was crafty and enjoyed woodworking. In her downtime, she could be found watching game shows on TV. Doris was an Auxilliary Member of the American Legion for over 50 years and enjoyed her time there. She will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Flossie Gillett, husband, Albert Gouker, brothers, Clifford (Loraine), Duane (Lucille), Lawrence (Phyllis), and Norman (Char) Gillett, sisters, Edith (Louis) Francois and Myrtle (Carol) Beardsley, and brother-in-law, Bernard Bilodeau.

Doris is survived by her sister, Lois Bilodeau, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Doris will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Chetek. A luncheon will be held at the American Legion in Chetek following the service.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
