Dorothy Elizabeth Lindholm, age 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Eagle Ridge Senior Care facility in Osceola, WI.

Dorothy was born on January 23, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN to Adolph and Ella Hoyer.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Eugene Lindholm of Webster, WI on September 7, 1946. Eugene “Gene” was fresh out of the Navy and attending the University of Minnesota to become a veterinarian. Dorothy was also very active in the Osceola community. She was part of the Osceola Women’s Club, Eastern Star and the women’s Wednesday night bowling league. She served on the Osceola School Board, was a volunteer leader for Cub Scouts, Brownies and Girl Scouts when her children were little. Dorothy sang in the choir and served as an organist at Peace Lutheran Church in Dresser, WI for 25 years and retired at the age of 88. Dorothy loved her Minnesota Gophers, Lynx, Twins and Vikings. She loved cats and anything in the color of blue. Dorothy was very proud of her Swedish heritage.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Ella Hoyer and her husband, Gene Lindholm.
