
In Memory of Dorothy M. Wallin Miller
Dorothy Mae Wallin Miller was born March 11, 1928 in Morris, Minnesota to Russell and Rose Brown and was the youngest of 8 children. She died Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at United Pioneer Home in Luck, WI at age 97.
At the age of 4, she moved with her family to Frederic, Wisconsin and graduated from Frederic High School in 1946.
On June 28, 1947 she married Ray Wallin. They lived on the family farm between Cushing and Atlas and had two sons: Larry Wallin and Lindsey Wallin, both of Luck.
Dorothy worked for the Duncan Yoyo Factory, Ostling Archery Company, US Bedding and Wood Goods Industries all of Luck. Her husband Ray proceeded her in death on October 17, 1981.
Dorothy married Arlo Miller in 1990 and he proceeded her in death in 2012.
Dorothy was proceeded in death by her parents and seven siblings. She is survived by her two sons, Larry (Mary) and Lindsey (Sue); step-son, Greg and JoAnn Miller and step-daughter Vicki and Gary Ganje; grandchildren, Andrea (Wallin) and Danny Huffman, Jessica (Wallin) and Chance Langeness, Aaron and Renee Wallin, Steven and Amanda Wallin, Sarah (Wallin) and Eric Adams, Amy (Wallin) and Chad Elmer, Adam and Briana Wallin, Josh and Karen Ganje, Ben and Shannon Ganje, Kim (Miller) and Ben Pytleski, Greg, Jr. and Liz Miller, Jonathan Miller; and 31 great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to the thoughtful and caring staff at United Pioneer Home. They loved and took wonderful care of Dorothy, and all of us, for nearly four years.
Memorial services will be held at United Methodist Church in Atlas, WI (2110 295th Ave, Luck, WI) on Monday, April 7 – visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to United Methodist Church in Atlas where she had been a life-long member.
