Douglas Allen Wayne, age 54, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 4, 2023 at his residence.

Doug was born on March 22, 1969 in Eau Claire, WI. He was one of twelve siblings to parents, Earl and Anna (Berger) Wayne.

Doug attended Spring Valley high school, graduating in 1988. He went on to attend school at Chippewa Valley Technical College. He got his degree in Electrical Mechanical and enjoyed learning about mechanics of how things operated. After his schooling, Doug spent 6 years in the Naval Reserves as an equipment operator.

Doug married Dawn (Walker) on August 5, 2011 and to this union, was blessed with a daughter.

Doug enjoyed fishing, woodworking, boating, and spending time at the cabin with his family, and friends.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents; infant sister Patricia; sister Ruth Myers; and brother Ronald Wayne.

He will remain in the heart of his wife Dawn; daughters, Savannah (Shawna Anderson), and Alexa; granddaughter, Avaleena; siblings Roger (Bobbie) Wayne, Steve (Gail Upton) Wayne, Shirley (Ken) Nimmo, Sandy Wolf, Annette (Chris) Hegner, Joe (Kathy) Wayne, Barbara Hopkins, and Janet (Dave) Flaskerud; brother-in-law, Stanley Myers; many nieces, nephew, other extended family and friends.

Memorial services for Doug will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Alliance Church of The Valley in St. Croix Falls, WI. Visitation one hour prior. Military honors to follow.
