Elaine Alice Norton, 86, of Spooner passed away on April 24, 2024 at Shell Lake Health Care Center. She was born December 15, 1937 in Beaver Brook Twp, WI to Howard and Alice (Will) Jones.

Elaine was married in Shell Lake, WI on July 30,1955 to Raymond Norton who preceded in death on December 30, 2014. Together they ran a dairy farm in Spooner over 20 years.

Elaine loved her family, trees, birds and flowers. She had a green thumb and was creative and artistic. She liked reading and watching T.V. In her younger years, she liked dancing and quilting. She was good to give advice when needed, and was a very kind, caring, and loving person.

She will be missed by children, Jeffrey (Marilyn) Norton of Spooner, Kim (Dolean) Norton of Spooner, Kristin Norton of Spooner, Terri (Keith) Kisselburg of Merrill, WI, Sherri (Tom) Hunter of Merrill, WI; 10 grandchildren, Austan, Dustin, Leif, Rachel, Rebekah, Bethany, Corri, Brandon, Brook and Brandt; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren, brother, Kenneth Jones of Palo Cedro, CA; sister in laws, Emma Hall, and Wanda Norton; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Howard and Alice Jones; husband, Raymond Norton; grandson, Isaiah Norton; and brothers, Erving Jones and Carl Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Faith Lutheran Church, Spooner with Pastor Brent Berkesch officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior at church.

Pallbearers are Dustin Norton, Leif Norton, Austan Norton, Brandon Hunter, Brandt Hunter, and Malachai Norton.

Interment will take place at a later date.

Skinner Funeral Home of Shell Lake is serving the family.
