Elinor J. Wilcox, 82, of Spooner passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at The Spooner Health Systems in Spooner, Wisconsin.

Elinor was born on December 13, 1934 to John and Eva (Shannon) Hedin in Alborn, Minnesota. She married Bruce Wilcox on May 11, 1955 in Duluth, Minnesota. They spent the majority of their lives in the Stone Lake area. He passed away on March 3, 2011. She was an active member of both the Wesleyan churches in Stone Lake and Spooner.

Elinor is survived by: her children; Shari (Dana) Perkins, Marcia Wilcox, David Wilcox, Raymond Wilcox, Dean Wilcox, Thomas Wilcox, and Linda (Ken) Myer, one brother, Lee Hedin, grandchildren; Benjamin, Shannon, Randall, Colby, Thomas, Jr., Christopher, Sean, Tyler, Dillon, Danica, and Adam, and great-grandchildren, Avery, Autumn, and Jonathon. She was preceded in death by; her parents, and husband, Bruce.

A memorial service will be held for Elinor on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at The Spooner Funeral Home with Pastor LeRoy Drake officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at The Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to The Spooner Funeral Home.
