Eugene “Gene” Roy Griffin, 85, of Shell Lake, WI went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Our House Memory Care in Rice Lake.

He was born February 7, 1938 in Manito, IL.

Gene loved spending time with his family, and he kept them in a close embrace. He enjoyed going for rides and always had to have a Dairy Queen chocolate cone on the way. He was a tender-hearted soul and will be greatly missed.

Survived by his wife, Amy; son, Steve (Julie); daughter, Candace (Steve); granddaughter, Rachel; sister, Evelyn; brothers, Harold (Louise), Gary (Judy), Russ, Terry (Jan), and brother-in-law, George.

Gene is preceded in death by his precious Mom, Aggie; three brothers, Larry, Jim and Carl; sister, Linda; sister-in-law, Mary.

A private interment was held.
