August 27, 1924  -  January 7, 2017 

Evelyn C. (Johnson) Rene’ of Spooner, Wisconsin passed away at home on Saturday January 7, 2017. 

Evelyn was born on August 27, 1924 to Carl and Naomi Johnson in Gary, South Dakota.  She married Robert C. Rene' on October 2, 1943.

Evelyn loved her family, animals, quilting, working in her gardens, traveling, and antiques. 

She is survived by a son Bruce (Priscilla) of Pembrine, Wisconsin; three daughters Rosanne Ratzel of Menomonie Falls, Michelle Books of Spooner and Dorinda (Timothy) Joslin of Trego; eight grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren;  three sisters June (Henry) Ellison of Hayward, Audry Miller of Trego, and Kathren Parmer of Mobil, Alabama.

A burial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
