Evelyn Jane Sirinek, age 90, of Birchwood, WI, died Monday, January 19, 2026 in Rice Lake, WI. She was born on December 1, 1935 in Weyerhaeuser, WI and raised by her parents, Frances and John Morrissey and graduated from Weyerhaeuser High School.

Evelyn was married to Raymond Sirinek on March 2, 1957. They dairy farmed in Birchwood where they raised their seven sons. She was an avid baker, enjoyed cooking, traveling, gardening and sewing. Evelyn loved feeding the hummingbirds every morning. She was very active at St. John’s Catholic Church.

Evelyn loved her sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn was strong, faithful, loving, generous, and a very kind woman.

She is survived by 5 sons, Gary (Pam) Sirinek, Bill Sirinek, Don (Kris) Sirinek, Mark Sirinek, and Scott (Kelly) Sirinek; 2 daughters-in-law, Nancy Sirinek and Sue Sirinek; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Larry Sirinek; many nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sirinek; 2 sons, Tom Sirinek and Jim Sirinek; her parents, John and Frances Morrissey; 2 sisters, Gloria (Louie) Jilek and Eleanor Daniels and other beloved family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Friday, February 6, 2026 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Birchwood, WI, Father Phil Juza officiating, with interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Birchwood.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI and for one hour prior to the Funeral Service at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. John’s Catholic Church or your favorite charity.
