Frank Charles Marcoux, beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 in Rice Lake, WI.

He was the son of David and Frances Marcoux, proud father of Marian (Jordan) Marcoux and Cody (Elizabeth) Featherly, as well as being a grandfather to four beautiful children (Addilynn, Waylon, Mason, and Axel).

He was a devoted brother to Theresa Anderson, Aaron (Elizabeth) Marcoux, Emilie (Luke) Bailkey, and Victoria (Calvin) Marcoux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Frances Marcoux. Frank had a deep love for the outdoors and found his greatest peace by the water with a fishing pole in hand. Whether casting a line at dawn or sitting quietly by the river at dusk, he found joy in the simple, steady beauty of nature—and shared that appreciation with everyone fortunate enough to know him. One of Marian’s fondest memories captures Frank’s adventurous spirit and love of fishing.

When she was a child, he often took her to the river by the dam in Rice Lake, teaching her how to spot where the fish were hiding. Ever the hands-on teacher, Frank would jump into the water and swim up to the lip of the dam, locating the fish by sight and feel, often leaving him and Marian laughing and soaked through.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at The River Church in Rice Lake, WI with interment to follow in the Orchard Beach Cemetery in Rice Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
