In Memory of Frank DeNasha-Crowe

September 6, 1962 - June 12, 2023

Frank William DeNasha-Crowe, age 60, of Radisson, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023.

Frank was born September 6, 1962, in Chicago, IL, the son of William DeNasha and Flavia Crowe.

Frankie will be remembered by his family for many things but mostly for his artistic talent. You can see his artwork throughout the LCO Community as he created the artwork on the tribal license plates and sold many of his masterpieces within the reservation. Creating beautiful works of art was a passion he thoroughly enjoyed. Frankie lived several different places throughout his life, but LCO was always his “home” and where he’d come back to and where he resided the last few years of his life. He will be the Dad/Brother/Uncle we remember for his adventurous and mischievous demeanor. Always joking and teasing, smiling and forever harassing his nieces and nephews. Frankie was sensitive and caring and enjoyed being around family. He was protective of his family and did his best to let them know he loved each and everyone with his random phone calls to chat. Frankie never wanted to burden anyone and did his own thing and danced to the beat of his own drum. He was happy and living his life the way he wanted. Frankie was unafraid of what was to come. That was Frankie!

He is survived by his sons Frank Jr. & John; daughter Jacky; brothers Donald DeNasha, Ronald DeNasha, Mitch Crowe & Raymond Cloud; sisters Frances DeNasha, Susan Howard, Deborah Cloud & Linda Redbird; nieces & nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Raquel DeNasha; and brother Charles DeNasha.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 14th at the funeral home.

Casket bearers will be Robert Baker Jr., Adam DeNasha, Henry Greengrass, Murt Greengrass, Curtis Redbird and Tom Redbird.
