Freida Mae Carrasco, 80, of Centuria passed away peacefully with her family by her side, September 10, 2020 at St. Croix Health Center. She was born August 20, 1940 in , Kentucky to Brady and Ethal Mae (Blan) Chancellor.

Freida was a proud military veteran, serving in the Army for four years and then entered into the active reserves for two years. She was a nurse and loved caring for others. Freida also had a great love for family, animals and traveling.

She is survived by daughter, Terrie (Russ) Cook of Cumberland; granddaughter, Crystal Ramsey (Randall Knutson) of Cumberland; grandson, Maurice Jr. (Julie) Ramsey of Chino, CA; two great granddaughters: Marissa and McKenzie Ramsey of Chino, CA; brothers: Robert Chancellor of Lebanon, MO, and Gene Chancellor of Vero Beach, FL.

Military honors will be held September 16, 2020 at Skinner Funeral Home for her family.

She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
