Gary Dean Moore, 64, of Maple Plain died on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Regions Hospital. He was born December 20, 1960, in Cumberland to George and Beverly (Behrndt) Moore.

Gary could often be found either on his Harley, creating trails in the woods, or playing with his tools. He took pride in caring for his property and the log house he built. Gary also enjoyed hunting, canoeing and fishing.

Anytime he could spend outdoors was a great time! Even the day he and Brandon spontaneously decided to go skydiving was filled with excitement. He was a leader for the Boy Scouts for several years. One summer, Gary and his friends built a paintball course that expanded from the woods to the field of his property.

Most of all Gary loved his family. He always made sure to be there whenever needed. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his son, Brandon (Amanda) Moore; daughter, Kendra Moore; grandchildren: Brielle, Zane, Wren, and Kaia; mother, Beverly Moore; siblings: David Moore and Bonnie Moore; his love, Jeri Jenkins; and many other family and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his father, George Moore; and sister, Sharon Moore.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 - 3 PM Friday, Nov 7, 2025, at the Maple Plain Town Hall.
