In Memory of Gary Jolly


May 28, 1955 - December 4, 2021

Gary John Jolly, 66, of Siren WI passed away unexpectedly on December 4th 2021.

Gary was born on May 28 1955 to Bonnie and Albert in Omaha Nebraska.

He was raised by his parents Bonnie and Murel Jolly in both Mason City Iowa, and White Bear Lake MN.

He served in the US Army from 1973 until 1977 when he was honorably discharged. During his time in the Army he drove truck while stationed in Germany. His time driving truck there turned into a lifelong career for him as an owner operator driving with Direct Service, D&T, and BJ Transport.

His greatest accomplishment and joy were his four children, who he shared with his first wife Julianne. He made it his life’s work to provide for his children.

Gary later met and married the love of his life Holly, whom he spent the last seven years of his life with.

Gary enjoyed making people laugh and having a good time.

He is preceded in death by his Grandma Anna Burns, Parents Bonnie, Murel, and brother Curt.

He is survived by his siblings RuthAnne, Jerry, Albert and Linda. His wife Holly, children Daniel (Kari) Christopher (Paloma) Lindsay (Paul) Abbey (David) step children Kiara (David) Amelie. And grandchildren Brock, Colin, Johan, Sienna, Sophia, Milo, Lily and Morgan. And many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be Saturday December 11th, at noon at Amazing Grace Assembly of God, 1237 Earl St. St. Paul MN.

In leu of gifts the family is asking that people make a donation to Metro Hope Ministries (Minneapolis MN) in his name.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
