In Memory of Gene M. Bohlman
Gene Martin Bohlman, 69 years old, of Clayton, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the morning of January 7th, 2025, in Minneapolis MN at Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
Gene was born in France to Odette F. Buran, (Devos) and Gene W. Bohlman on March 5th, 1955. He went to school at Horlick High School of Racine, WI. He was in a loving relationship with his partner Roxie. He graduated from MATC. He worked as a Professional Landscaper for his own business, Genes Organic Lawn and Landscape Service and he also started his own business after retiring named Flower Power maintaining potted plants around his community during the spring, summer, and fall months.
Gene is survived by his companion Roxie Titel, Children: Matthew H. Bohlman (Karrie Juleff) and April E. Johnson (Steven) Stepchildren: Eric Strasser (Melissa) and Ryan Strasser (Jenny Vandervest) Brother: Robin Bohlman (Kelly) Grandchildren: Ian C. Johnson, Camden M. Johnson, Step Grandchildren Parker Strasser and Dominic Strasser. 1st wife Vickie Fox (Smith) and 2nd wife Denise Hazen (Prochnow).
Gene M. Bohlman was preceded in death by Mother Odette Buran, Stepfather Frank Buran, and Father Gene W. Bohlman.
The family of Gene wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN for being gracious and for showing compassion for Genes’ last days here with us. We’re forever grateful. Thank you.
There will be a Celebration of Life planned for Gene in the summer of 2025 with the gathering of family and friends that will celebrate Gene’s life and to reminisce through the endless memories and stories remembered by many of Gene.
Gene wished to be cremated with no burial and will be laid to rest with his son, Matthew, and daughter, April.
