George Seehuetter, age 51, of Hayward, WI passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his home.

George Allen Seehuetter was born March 23, 1973, in Shell Lake, WI, the son of Thomas and Teresa (Gillette) Seehuetter. He was raised in Hayward, WI and in his youth, he enjoyed fishing, riding his bike, attending 4H, and taking his toys apart. In the summers of his high school years, George worked for Pizza Plus George graduated from Hayward High School in 1992 and then continued his education at Nicolet Technical College in Rhinelander, WI. George was awarded a vocational diploma in Marine & Outdoor Power Products Technician. He returned to Hayward where he worked for Coop Grocery, Ernie’s Autobody, and Musky Motors. George would also help at the Hayward Veterans Center on steak and raffle nights. George had a wonderful sense of humor and always seemed so happy. He volunteered at the American Birkebeiner and assisted his brother-in-law with two building projects. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and WWE Wrestling, feeding birds and working on jigsaw puzzles. George was an avid Packer and Badger fan.

George is survived by his mother, Terry; two siblings, Tim (Sheila) Seehuetter of Hayward, Nancy (Rick) Spoolman of Rapid City, SD; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

George was preceded in death by his father; maternal and paternal grandmothers; two siblings, Charles “Chuck” Seehuetter and Melana Schmidt; and nephew, Christopher Schmidt.

A gathering will be held for George from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Hayward Funeral Home. The time of gathering will be concluded with a prayer service. A private interment will be in the Spider Lake Cemetery at a later time.
