March 7, 1952 - December 4, 2025

Gerald Arthur “Gerry” Jensen, 73, of Shell Lake passed away on December 4, 2025, at Spooner Health very unexpectedly. He was born March 7, 1952, in Waukesha, WI to Charles Otto and Louis Pauline (Hasslinger) Jensen. A gentle, thoughtful, and quietly generous man, Gerry enriched the lives of those around him with his warmth, intelligence, and steady presence.

Gerry built a long and respected career as a Software Engineer, known for his curiosity, dedication, and ability to solve problems with both precision and patience. His colleagues admired not only his technical skill but also his kindness, humor, and willingness to help others.

Outside of work, Gerry found joy in simple, meaningful moments—especially playing video games and spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him immense happiness. He treasured family above all else.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barb Jensen and three children: Andrea (Shawn) Vilhauer, Angela St. Onge (Trevor Dachel), and Aaron (Danyelle) Jensen; as well as his six grandchildren Jaden, Carter, Cameron, Elly, Ava, and Isla and his great grandson LaTayvion, siblings Barb Jensen O’Connell, Pat Jensen Schutz, Kristine Jensen Plamann, and many nieces and nephews all of whom will carry forward his love, wisdom, and gentle spirit.
