Gladys Asp Packer passed away from this life to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 89 on September 24, 2025.

She was born the daughter of Albert and Hulda (Carlson) Asp at Hugo Minnesota on January 27, 1936.

When she was three years of age the family moved back to Spring brook, Wisconsin where they resided prior to moving to Minnesota. Gladys attended a one room country school, graduated from Spooner High School and soon after became a secretary in St. Paul, MN. While her husband Rell Packer was working in Vietnam, she attended cosmetology school in St. Paul and attained her cosmetology license in Minnesota. Gladys had a dual membership in Minnesota and Wisconsin in the Eastern Star, she served in many offices in the organization.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rell Packer; son, Shaun Packer; Seven brother, Arthur, Clarence, Preston, Clayton, Harvey, Ernest and William Asp; one Sister Edith Soloman.

She is survived by her son, Dion Packer; Step - Daughter, Roseann Christoffersen; step son Todd Packer; Many Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
