Glennis Rae Lynch, age 78, of Comstock passed away on September 20, 2024 at Meadowbrook in Chetek. She was born January 31, 1946 in Turtle Lake, WI to Jack and Eunice (Groehler) Schabell.

Glennis will be remembered and admired for her many skills across the board. She spent time in numerous fields, from working as a CNA for the state to being a guard at a prison. Additionally, she volunteered her time, serving as President of the Ladies Aide at West Akers, President of the VFW Aux. 8512, and Clerk of Vance Creek Township.

She excelled in all she did, and will be greatly missed.

She leaves behind her husband, Robert Lynch; children, Diane Sears, Allen Galindo, Mike Galindo, Carol Lynch, and Paul Lynch; stepchildren, Al, Patty, Rick, Jimmy, and Danny Galindo; grandchildren, Rachel (Luke) Henningson, Lekresha (Rob) Siefkes, Austin Galindo, Alyssa Galindo, Aliya Galindo, Elizabeth Galindo, Beau Galindo; great-grandchildren, Alexys, Izaiah, EllaRae, Cameron, and Kovyn; brother, Jon (John Trones) Schabell; step-mother, Jean Petit; and sisters-in-law, Kathy (Duane) Williams, Patty Lusson, and Virginia (Bob) Gehrman.

Glennis was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice and Jack Schabell; brothers, Jack Schabell and Jim Schabell; brother-in-law, David Lynch; grandson, Allen Ray Galindo; and grandparents, Herman and Agnes Groehler and Ben and Beatrice Lynch.

A memorial service to celebrate Glennis will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at West Akers Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm, with Pastor Mark Woeltge officiating.

Visitation will be held at church one hour prior to the service.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to West Akers Church or VFW Post 8512 in Glennis' name.
