Goldie Mae Buchta (Henderson) passed away peacefully November 5th, 2024. She was 90 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Buchta. Goldie was born October 13, 1934. She was born in Shell Lake, Wi, to Horace and Mary Henderson. She attended schools in Shell Lake, WI. Goldie married Bob Buchta in Pine City, MN, in 1953. In 1955, Goldie and Bob drove the Alaska Highway to start their new life adventures. In 1975, Goldie and Bob returned to Spooner, WI, to open a Hardware Hank store on Main Street. Goldie and Bob retired in 1995. They did lots of traveling in their motor home.

Goldie is survived by her four children, Sally (Alan) McCollar, Linda (Steve) Leverty, Bobby (Dot) Buchta and James Buchta. Also 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grancdhildren. Goldie had 6 brothers and one sister. Goldie is survived by one brother Roy Henderson.
