Gregory “Greg” James Paulus, age 72, of Rice Lake, WI, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in Rice Lake surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 28, 1952 to Joseph and Marcella (Mikyska) Paulus.

Greg graduated from Rice Lake High School and was married to Susan Roseboom on September 30, 1972 in Birchwood, WI. They dairy farmed in the township of Oak Grove for many years. He hauled milk cans around the area and also worked for Michael’s Pipeline. He enjoyed coyote, deer, bear and turkey hunting, fishing, playing dart ball, and also racing hound dogs. Greg enjoyed life and you knew he liked you if he teased you.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Paulus; 2 sons, Jason (Krista) Paulus and Andrew (Maria) Paulus; daughter-in-law, Corinne (Aaron) Swanson; 5 grandchildren; Dustyn (Emily), Zachary, Karmen, Drew and Hailey (Zach); a brother, Gerald (Kellee); 2 sisters, Florence (Ed) and Christine; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, James Paulus; his parents, Joseph and Marcella Paulus; and a brother, George.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Dobie, WI.

Visitation will be held from 9-11AM Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the church.
