Hazel Aileen Severson, age 96, of Rice Lake, WI, died Monday, July 21, 2025 in Rice Lake. She was born on June 27, 1926 in Barronette, WI to Frank and Opal Falkner.

Hazel graduated from Rice Lake High School, where she met and married the love of her life, Rawlin Wiesner. They farmed near Brill, Wi where they raised their 4 children, Charlotte, Sheri, Wally and Randy. Her son Wally passed in a car accident in 1973. Sadly, Rawlin passed in 1984, leaving her with a farm to run by herself. She sold the farm and later married Gordy Kleven of Long Lake. He passed away in 1991. She then moved to Rice Lake where she bought a house on Noble Ave., and then met and married Karman Severson. He also passed, leaving her alone again. The last 4 years of her long and beautiful life she spent at Our House Senior Living Center and Memory Care Unit, where she received wonderful care. God took her home.

She is survived by 3 children, Charlotte Rowe, Sheri Jackson and Randy (Cindy) Wiesner; 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon and Staci; a great granddaughter, Jordyn; step grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Grace Lutheran Church - 2797 23 ½ St., Brill, WI, John Brunclik officiating, with interment in the Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake at a later date. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Friday.
