Heidi Corrine Mary Hartmann, 65, of Weyerhaeuser, WI, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026 in Chetek, WI.

Heidi was born on February 28, 1961, in Melrose Park, Illinois, to Henry Raymond Berthold Hartmann and Dorothy Lou (Bunch) Hartmann.

Heidi had a lifelong love of horses, especially the family's beloved horses, Lady and Nomad, who brought her countless happy memories over the years. She also enjoyed reading, studying history, singing in choir, and, above all, spending time with her family. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and treasured the relationships she shared with those she loved.

Heidi began her career working in the bakery at Eagle Foods in Carpentersville, Illinois. In 1991, she moved to Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin. She later worked at Snyder Drug in Rice Lake until the store closed, and then at Pamida in Ladysmith until its closure, after which she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Donald Edward McDonald, Jon Henry Hartmann, and Christopher Joseph Hartmann; her uncle Hank Mueller, and aunt Essie (Bunch) Mueller.

She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Jeffrey Lynn Brock; her sisters, Gabrielle Maria Anna (Randy) Gauthier and Melinda Marie (Shawn) Blansett; sister in laws, Gina Hartmann and Sandy Hartmann; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Heidi will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of learning, and the special place she held in the lives of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
