Holly Ann Thompson Age 45, of Rice Lake, WI, died Thursday, June 27, 2024 in Rice Lake surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 12, 1979 in Spooner, WI to Martin and Tammera (Meier) Tyree. Holly graduated from Spooner High School in 1998 and then graduated from WITC in Cosmetology. She was manager of Fantastic Sam’s in Rice Lake for over 17 years and also owned and operated with her sister, Sister’s Rustic Shed in Rice Lake. Holly was married to Darrin Thompson on September 14, 2002 in Spooner, WI. She enjoyed traveling, watching hockey, doing crafts and loved being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Darrin Thompson Sr; 3 children, Emma Thompson (Raven Merry), Darrin Thompson Jr and Avery Thompson; a stepdaughter, Erin Thompson; 5 grandchildren, Reina, Bronson, Hazey, Payden and Iverly; her parents, Martin and Tammera Tyree; 2 sisters, Heather (David) Beverson and Heidi (Seth) Carroll; a brother, Matthew (Heather) Tyree; a grandmother, Joyce Ripley; mother-in-law, Linda Towne; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth Meier, Rodney Ripley, George Tyree and Virginia Tyree; father-in-law, Norman Thompson; and a special uncle, Michael Tyree.

Funeral Services will be held at Noon, Monday July 1, 2024 at Maranatha Evangelical Free Church in Rice Lake, Rev. Cody Kargus officiating, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery in Stone Lake, WI at a later date. Visitation will be held from 10AM- Noon on Monday at the church. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is assisting and serving the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
