Homer John Nelson, age 71, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, September 12, 2025 in Barron, WI.

He was born on April 1, 1954 in Minneapolis, MN and grew up in Stanley, MN and lived in many different towns in MN and WI. Homer worked many jobs during his work years. Homer loved working on the computer and enjoyed talking/connecting with people. He was a very simple man and felt content. Homer loved the Lord.

He is survived by the Art Alvarez Family of Birchwood, WI; a brother-in-law, Randy Lee of WI and many dear friends from Eau Claire, WI.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and his siblings. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
