Irene Iris Olson, age 92, a resident of Webster, WI passed away on July 11, 2022 at the nursing home in Frederic, WI.

Irene was born on December 1, 1929 in Casey Township, WI to parents Clarence and Violet (Harmon) Swonger.
Irene married the love of her life, Raymond Olson on September 5, 1970 in Webster, WI.

Irene worked many places throughout her lifetime. She was a bus driver, worked at Seneca Foods, Capeside Cove Nursing Home, the St. Croix Casino Danbury, ICAA, the Spooner Nursing Home and also at Parker.

Irene enjoyed reading, knitting and sewing making the most beautiful quilts.

Irene is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond; Parents, Clarence and Violet; siblings, Alice, Marge, Jack, Otto, Jeanette, Betty, Carl, Jim and Addie; daughter, Judy; grandson, Jerry Jr; paternal parents, Frieda and Axel Olson.

She is survived by her children, Joy (Butch) Kutchera, Sonny (Rose) Snell, Lisa (Kent) Franklin, Stacy (Jeremy) Hollis; grandchildren, Shari, Sheila, Joe, Larry, Tyson, Maggie, Torrey, Carrie, Joshua, Janelle, Gregory, Marcus, Chelsea, Teagan and Hailey; in laws, Linda, Bonnie, Janet, Butch, Barb; nieces and nephews; along with many other family members and friends.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin with Jack Swonger Jr. officiating.

A celebration of life will be held on July 23, 2022 at the Webster Fire Hall starting at 12:00 PM.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
