In Memory of Jacqueline Zimmerman


July 2, 1939 - November 19, 2021

Jacqueline I. Zimmerman, age 82, of Rice Lake & formerly of Dallas, WI gained her heavenly wings on Friday, November 19th, 2021 at Dove Healthcare in Rice Lake.

She was born July 2nd, 1939 to John & Irene (Ruffing) Winkler at Stockbridge, WI where she was raised and attended school.

She graduated from New Holstein High School in 1957, Valedictorian of her class. On June 6th, 1959, she was married to John Zimmerman at New Holstein and the couple farmed in various locations throughout the years. They raised 7 children and Jacqueline tended to her home and children as well as helping John with the farm chores. She loved playing cards, but family was her life & she lived for her children. Her latest love was having tea parties with her great granddaughter Abbi. She will be deeply missed by her family. Her body and spirit are now restored & we know she is reunited with John & dancing in Heaven.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, husband: John on August 13th, 2016, brother: Jim Winkler & sister-in-law: Adeline Winkler. She is survived by her son: John (Dottie) Zimmerman of Ridgeland, daughters: Sharon (Larry) Wiste & Shirley (Tom) Gerard all of Spring Grove, MN, Susan (Steve) Scheck of LaCrosse, Janet (Gary) Sand of Spring Grove, Jackie (Joe) Hyde of Chetek & Vicki (Paul) Feidt of Dallas, 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, brother: David Winkler of St. Cloud, WI, sister-in-law: Barb, her favorite nurse & friend: Mary, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27th at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Chetek with Father Chandra Ery officiating & interment following in the Dallas Cemetery at Dallas, WI. Visitation will be held for the hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
