In Memory of James M. "Jim" Huebner

February 7, 1972 - November 19, 2025

James Michael "Jim" Huebner, 53, of Cumberland passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2025, at his home. He was born February 7, 1972, in Shell Lake, WI to Lee Duane and Gloria Ines (Ladd) Huebner. He graduated from Cumberland High School in 1990, and went on to join the U.S. Marines and served for five years.

He enjoyed working in his garden, attending various car shows, riding roller coasters, and writing. Jim wanted everyday to be an adventure but also found joy in the simple things in life. He liked playing video games and streaming. This joy expanded into his passion of programming, investing, and passing on his knowledge to anyone who would listen.

Jim was self-less; willing to help anyone in need without question. He truly cherished the time spent with everyone in his family. Jim made a point to attend as many of his grandson’s various events as he could. His charismatic personality will be deeply missed by family, friends, and colleagues alike.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kessa Huebner of St. Paul; grandson, Adonis Rodriguez; brother, Jeffrey Huebner of Cumberland; sisters: Tammy (Steven) Mehalek and Tanya (Jason Genatempo) Huebner, both of Cumberland; nieces and nephews and many other family and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Huebner; father, Lee Huebner; brothers: Lee and Jody; niece, Sanay Hemingway.
