It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane Ann (Willing) Roush of Stone Lake, Wisconsin. A beloved wife, mother, and Nana, whose strength was matched only by her capacity to love. To know Jane was to love her. She possessed a graceful determination that carried her through life's trials, never simply enduring, but always continuing to live.

She navigated several health challenges, including a lung transplant and three battles with cancer. Always, Jane found the strength to fight for more time with the people she loved. Her illnesses were part of her story, but they were never the definition of it.

Alongside her husband, Gene, Jane built Birch Point Dental, serving the communities of Radisson, Birchwood, and Hayward. But the work closest to her heart was always her family. She was a present and devoted mother and adoring Nana. She raised her children, watched them build lives and families of their own, met every one of her grandchildren, and filled those years with enough love to continue long beyond her lifetime.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dorothy Willing, of St. Charles, IL.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dr. Gene Roush; her three children, Kate (Mark) Buri, Erin Butterfield, and Chris (Christina) Roush; and her beloved grandchildren, Jack, Michael, Luke, and Benjamin Buri; Graham and Maxwell Butterfield; and Oliver and Harriett Roush. She is also survived by her brothers, Bob (Diane) Willing, Steve Willing, and Mark Willing, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jane leaves something of herself behind within each of us: her resilience, her humor, her determination, her appreciation for life's smallest pleasures, and above all, her joyful kindness.

A memorial service celebrating Jane's life will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Stone Lake, Wisconsin with a luncheon to follow at Red Schoolhouse Wines.
