Janet “Jan” Elmquist, age 87, of Cushing, WI, passed away on May 1. Born February 11, 1939, she was the youngest of three sisters and grew up in a close rural community. She met her husband, John Elmquist, in Minneapolis, and they married at 20. Together they raised three sons—Jeff, Jim (Erica), and Tim—in the Twin Cities.

Jan is survived by her sons; sister Margie (Robert); grandchildren Maddie, Ashtyn, and Aubree; and great‑grandchildren Brooklyn, Chloe, Piper, Sawyer, and Finn. She is preceded in death by her sister Mary Lou, brother‑in‑law Jerry, and granddaughter Jackie. Jan will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
