Jeanette H. Nieman, 84, of Cumberland died Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN.

She was born December 11, 1937, in Cumberland, WI to Henry S. and Inez (Wallich) Johnson and was raised in the Cumberland area.

Jeanette was married at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, IA on July 27, 1966, to Robert J. Nieman who preceded her in death on November 28, 2019. She worked for 3M for 30 years. After retirement, she enjoyed RV camping and attending coin shows with Bob, watching the birds and deer, and listening to country music. One of Jeanette's favorite things to do was to cheer on her favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. Jeanette had a fun outgoing personality and will be deeply missed by friends and family.

She is survived by her sister, Elaine (Harold) Weaver of Cumberland; brother, Roger Johnson of Waupun; children: Penny (Ken) Filter of Cameron and Dan Nieman of Cumberland; several grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Dawn Reyes; son, Robert A. Nieman; parents; brothers: LeRoy and Gary Johnson; and brother-in-law, Ronald O. Nieman.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Thursday. Burial will be in McKinley Cemetery at 10:00 AM Friday, October 14, 2022.
