Jo Ann Celia Marek, age 85, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Eagle Ridge Senior Living in Osceola, WI.

Jo Ann was born February 5, 1941, in Frederic, WI to parents Fredrick and Marian (Olson) Marek. She attended Frederic High School, graduating in the class of 1959. Shortly after graduation, she married Darrell Goldbloom and to this union had three children, Loretta “Lori”, Lynn, and Gene.

Jo Ann enjoyed many things, including camping, fishing, bowling, reading, gardening, bird watching, cards and games (especially Scrabble), sewing and all kinds of music. She loved making people laugh, and even up until her senior days, flirting with the men. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

She will forever be remembered by her children Loretta “Lori” Norlander, Lynn Goldbloom, and Gene Goldbloom (Tammy Matton); 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers, Paul, Michael (Brenda), Donald (JoAnn), and Randolph (Kathy); and sister, Carol; and many other extended family and friends.

Jo Ann is now reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband, Lynn Kent; brothers Rodney and Robert; sister, Marie Aguilar; and father of her children, Darrell Goldbloom.

Celebration of Life for Jo Ann will take place 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Osceola, WI. Memory sharing begins at 3:30 PM.
