Joan Darlene (Krisik) Prasnicky, 82, of Sheldon, passed away peacefully on February 23rd, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Park Falls, Wisconsin.

Joan is survived by her children: Edward (Julie) Prasnicky of Grand Forks, ND, Steve Prasnicky of Sheldon, WI, Debra (George) Voldberg of Ingram, WI, Dolores (Melvin) Baughman of Gilman, WI, Michael (Staci) Prasnicky of Ingram, WI, and Daisy (Bryan) Bessa of Eau Claire, WI; sisters: Bernadette Beam and Bonnie Boivin; brothers: Philip Krisik, Michael Krisik, and Ronald Krisik; grandchildren: Judd (Aubrey) Prasnicky, Devan Prasnicky, Lexi (James) Mclaughlin, Raymond (Katie) Rynda, Melissa Brockman, Aaron (Ryan) Voldberg, Zachary (Sierra) Voldberg, Mitchell (Nicky) Baughman, Bridgitte (Samuel) Gotmer, Ryan Baughman, Brenda (Gregory) Fernandez, Sean Baughman, Nicholas Zimmer, Edward Prasnicky, Veronica Prasnicky, Briony Bessa, Aurelia Bessa, and Iris Bessa; ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and close family friend: Anthony (Sally) Austin.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents; Steve and Kathryn (Kennedy) Krisik, husband; and siblings: Billy Ray Krisik, James Krisik, Lois Suchla, Patrick Krisik, Frances ‘Fay’ Lazar, Maryann Kallstrom, Donald Krisik, Raymond Krisik, Kathryn Mae Sand, and Diane Simpson.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Sheldon. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
