In Memory of John Molamply


June 30, 1961 - December 31, 2021

John “Clancy” Leon Molamphy, 60, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on December 31, 2021.

Clancy was born on June 30, 1961, in Amery, Wisconsin the son of Edward and Mary Ann Molamphy.

Clancy graduated from Unity High School in 1979. After graduation, he worked for Grain Belt Brewery in St. Paul, MN but made a life career in underground utilities. He retired from Bolander & Sons Excavating in 2016.

He was a life member of the NRA, Balsam Lake Rod and Gun Club, Fox Creek Gun Club, and Polk County Sportsman Club.

Clancy is survived by his partner, Michelle Ingraham, Balsam Lake, WI; son, Brandon (Beth) Molamphy, Balsam Lake, WI; grandchildren, Emmett and Ella; siblings, Patricia Kastens, Luck, WI, and Michael (Anita) Molamphy, Turtle Lake, WI; Michelle’s children, Victoria and Alexander; nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Ann Molamphy, and brother-in-law, Alvin Kastens.

A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Georgetown Lutheran Church with a visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Please join the family for lunch in the fellowship hall following the service. Clancy will be laid to rest at the Georgetown Lutheran Church Cemetery at a later date.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
