John Thomas Pickett, born on April 16, 1957, in San Dieego, CA to Donald and Lois (Mosher) Pickett. He passed away peacefully on September 30, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.

He was a son, father, brother, and grandfather. He was a simple man that enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating, and camping. His love for cars showed at a young age between fixing them or watching them race in and out of the pits. He loved everything cars! If you needed it fixed he would be there to help; yes, even the Fords, but not without the face. He was a collector of many things.

He survived by two daughters and four bonus sons: Wanda (Ryan) Deming, Wendy (Jesse) Lindahl, Jeremy Taylor, Louis Taylor, Andy Taylor, and Phillip Taylor; grandchildren: Ricky, Jacob, Kylee, Donavan, Joseph, Jackson, Deven, Megan, Luna, Monica, Philip, and Killian; great grandchildren; two sisters: Jamie (Dale) Haase, and Karen Pickett; brother, Kent (Sophal) Pickett; two nephews; and many other family and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lois Pickett; and the love of his life, Robin Taylor.
