February 17, 1941  -  November 6, 2017

Joseph Earl Perro was born in Hibbing, MN on February 17, 1941.  He passed away peacefully at his home in Shell Lake, WI on November 6, 2017 at the age of 76.

 Joe was proceeded in death by his parents John Perro and Bernice (Bourque) Angelo.  He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years JoAnn (Bagley) Perro, daughters Debra Shipman (Richard), Jackie Perro (Warren Stouffer), Therese Perro and Darlene Theodorson and his siblings Dennis Perro (Sue) and Patti Wood. He was a loving Grandfather to Lauren Gontarek (Andrew), DJ and Josie Shipman, and Isaac and Ryan Theordorson; and a Great Grandfather to Kendall Gontarek.

Joe’s passion was his family along with fishing, travel and wood working.  He was a lifelong tropical fish hobbyist.  He was known for his Italian spaghetti sauce and gnocchi. He worked as an accountant for Bridgeman’s Restaurants in the Twin Cities and retired from Metro Printing in Eden Prairie, MN.  For retirement, Joe and JoAnn built their dream home in Walker, MN.  They lived there happily until moving to Shell Lake, WI to be closer to family.

Joe often shared with his family how grateful he was for the loving care he received from the staff at Maple Ridge Care Center and Spooner Health Home Care.
