Joyce E. Myers, age 99, was called to her eternal home on Tuesday, October 14 at Monroe Manor in Barron.

She was born on October 5, 1926 to Donald and Marie (Zuehlke) Myers in Barron. She attended Barron High School and graduated with the class of 1944.

Joyce appreciated her working experience at Barron Electric Cooperative (formerly REA). In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling, volunteering and spending time with family and friends. She was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church and for a time, served on the City of Barron Election Board and the Barron Housing Authority Board.

She is survived by her cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; and many cherished relatives and friends.

A funeral service for Joyce will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28 at Salem Lutheran Church in Barron. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Wayside Cemetery in Barron.
